So! Let's Play Steins;Gate is over. But there is still plenty you can do if you want to get into the world of Steins;Gate on your own! A lot.

Steins;Gate: The Anime


An anime adaptation of Steins;Gate was announced in 2010, released in 2011, and brought over here by Funimation in 2012, and as many people in the thread have attested, it's a fucking great adaptation. It follows the True Ending route pretty faithfully, but a lot is cut or reworked for time or flow, much of it to the story's benefit.

The whole thing is available for free on Funimation's website. I highly recommend the dub - J. Michael Tatum's performance as Okabe has to be heard to be believed.

Steins;Gate: Senkei Kousoku no Phenogram


Just last April, the official sequel to Steins;Gate was released! Less of a direct story sequel and more of a series of short stories from various viewpoints and of varying levels of canon. Sadly, to my knowledge, there is no English translation. The Man Who Seems to Whisper to Gaia to Shine More returns in it, though.

Steins;Gate, The Movie: Fuka Ryouiki no Déjà Vu


After the anime ended, a movie was announced, and just hit Japanese theatres last april! It's a direct sequel to the anime, taking place directly after the end of the story, in the Steins Gate timeline. In the new world, Mayuri and Kurisu both survive, but what is to become of Okabe?

A Shitload of Manga
There are, to my knowledge, eight Steins;Gate mangas. One of them is a direct adaptation.

The others are weird.

Steins;Gate is an adaptation of the story of the game, although the order of events is fairly different right from the start.

Steins;Gate: Boukan no Rebellion is the story of the game, but from Amane Suzuha's perspective. It shows the world of 2036, including Daru as an adult, and Suzuha's mother.

Steins;Gate: Aishin Maze no Babel is the story of the game, but from Makise Kurisu's perspective, starting in the last of the α World Lines, right before her death sentence. From there, it gets into her backstory with Nakabachi and the other characters.

Steins;Gate: Onshuu no Brownian Motion is Mr. Braun's backstory. It stars adult Suzuha.

Steins;Gate: Shijou Saikyou no Slight Fever seems to be the game's story again, from a different artist? I don't know, man.

Steins;Gate: Heiji Kyokusen no Epigraph is some kind of bizarre parallel universe thing where Okabe has lost all of his pretentious hipster bullshit weirdo tendencies.

Steins;Gate: Hiyoku Renri no Sweets Honey is zany antics and fanservice.

Steins;Gate: Heni Kuukan no Octet is about a time-traveling villain who uses the IBN 5100 to create a dystopian future where all of the world's industries are replaced with moe.


Chaos;Head


One year before Steins;Gate, Nitro+ released Chaos;Head. Steins;Gate could be called its spiritual successor, and they take place in the same continuity, although the connections between the two are pretty nebulous.

Set in Shibuya in 2009, Takumi Nishijou receives a mysterious message containing an image of a gruesome murder, then sees that murder take place the next day. As the police begin to suspect him, Takumi is drawn into an insane spiral of paranoia and delusion.

Robotics;Notes


Released two years after Steins;Gate, and taking place nine years later, Robotics;Notes is the third in the series, and is about high school kids building giant robots. There was an anime of it last year, all of which has been brought over by Funimation.

I haven't played or seen it, but apparently two Steins;Gate characters return in minor roles.

A bunch of other stuff

There are two other side story games produced, one of which is a comedy spinoff and the other of which is a non-canonical extension of the True Ending done in the style of PC-88-era graphical text adventure games. There's an internet radio show that began broadcasting before the game was released. There's three drama CDs. There's a real-life version of RaiNet Access Battlers. I don't know if any of these have been translated.

Basically, if you really liked Steins;Gate, you've got a lot to look forward to from here.
